Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Salamanca Cultural & Historical Walking Tour - In 1988, the Old City of Salamanca was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During this tour you will visit some of its historic sites, including the Cathedral, the top-ranked university buildings, the Roman bridge, and Plaza Mayor.

Monterrey Palace - This ancient aristocratic building is one of the most a perfect example of Spanish-Plateresque style buildings. The palace is the occasional residence of the Duke and Duchess of Alba.

Transfer to Leon (Approx 1.15 hrs)

Historical Tour by Train - Discover the city’s most significant sights through a  route that enables visitors to get a global view of the range of cultural and tourist activities and sights on offer in the city of Leon, with information about the main monuments to be seen throughout the trip.

Catedral Santa María De León - This is one of the most complete museums of its kind, with a host of treasures on display. The museum collection has items from all the different periods of the history of art, from prehistoric times through to the 20th century, arranged around the Cathedral cloister.

Full Day Trip - Tours of the castros (ruins of Dark Age Celtic settlements) in the western Asturias and eastern Galicia region with a visit to a quaint Galician town known for its cuisine and outdoor terraces.

Transfer to Santillana del Mar - Walk through this Northern Spanish town known for its medieval towers.

Stop in Comillas - Capricho de Gaudì - El Capricho was one of Gaudí's first completed projects, and features all of the fairy-tale charm that his work is known for.

Continue to Santander - Enjoy a walking tour to discover its characteristic bay and avant-garde buildings, as well as other historic monuments.
