Global Learning Experiences

The Best of Both Worlds

Through faculty-led study abroad programs, international educational experiences, and 360° global learning materials we make the world your new interactive classroom.

Our mission is to provide the most efficient, engaging, and innovative solutions to assist institutions in building globally competent students and faculty.

At SAA, the health and safety of participants and leaders on our programs is the highest priority. We understand that many colleges and universities are using the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) Warning Levels as the determining factor on the viability of running faculty-led programs and not allowing travel to a country at a Level 4 Warning, even when strictly COVID related.

SAA continues to closely monitor the situation on the ground in all the countries where we operate around the world and while we take into consideration the Warning Levels issued by the CDC and DOS, these are not the exclusive resources we consider in our decision making to operate a program. We consult multiple sources including the World Health Organization (WHO), local authorities overseas, our third-party global insurance and security specialist company, LewerMark Insurance, U.S. and other countries’ embassy and consular information, travel restrictions, vaccine requirements for certain activities, testing and quarantine requirements, country and city hospital capacity rates, and our local staff and trusted partners in our locations who provide additional on-the-ground information for consideration by our Health & Safety Team.

We’re currently working with over 200 institutions across the United States with enrollment sizes ranging from 1,000 students to over 90,000 students.
