Program Itinerary

day 1 / DEPARTURE

Flight to San Jose, Costa Rica

Airport Transfer 

Check-In, Refresh and Relax Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

day 2 / SAN JOSE

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Poas Volcano - We will wake up early and travel to Turrialba is the starter point of the best rafting along Costa Rica Pacuare river, consider the top 10 river with the best sceneries in the world. This day we will spend about 6 hrs on the river, so get ready for some action rapids class 3 & 4.     

Lunch Break

Mascadaras Colon - “Mascaradas” are a tradition in Costa Rica. It consists of masks made of paper bigger than a person’s head. Those masks are painted with brilliant colors and put in a structure which looks like a human torso. People dress them and then get inside the mascarada as if it were a costume.  The masks are used to represent local legend characters such as “La muerte” (Grimm) and “el diablo” (the devil) so they are a very important part of Costa Rican culture.

day 3 / CAHUITA

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Private Bus Pick Up and Travel for 2 hours to Get to Cahuita Beach

Surfing Lessons - Follow the Pura Vida vibes enjoying a surfing lesson according to your expertise, from beginners to expert.

Nocturnal Wildlife Hike - Tonight we will walk for about 2 hours trying to spot the wonders of the Rainforest,  which could be poison dart frogs, red eyed tree frogs, insects, sloths and more!

day 4 / CAHUITA

Optional Morning Beach Workout

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Cahuita National Park Walking Tour - In this amazing park students will see the best combination of jungle trek and beautiful Caribbean beaches just a few meters apart. You may see monkeys, sloths, raccoons and more.

Bribri Indigenous Community Visit - Learn about the day-to-day of this community looks like, learn about their culture and also about medicinal plants and Chocolate Making)

Traditional Group Lunch (included at the community)

Refresh at Waterfall - Bathe in refreshing water from the Talamanca Mountain range.

Return to Cahuita

day 5 / BOCAS DEL TORO

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Transfer to Bocas del Toro, Panamá (approx 3 hours) - While visiting Bocas Del Toro, you can spend your days exploring the local nature and your evenings enjoying the nightlife. You can surf, snorkel, and dive. We will rent a bike and explore the island.

Visit to the Indigenous Community

day 6 / BOCAS DEL TORO

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Panama - Island Hopping + Snorkeling Tour - Boating through magnificent and breathtaking islands you will soak in picturesque scenarios. Our boat captain will lead you to Dolphin Bay to see these wonderful marine mammals (however please note that this is real nature - we cannot 100% guarantee that you will dolphins). Then we will stop at Coral Cay Island, the best place to do snorkeling among colorful fish and other inhabitants of the coral reef resting in these turquoise waters.

Typical Lunch on a Floating Restaurant - This place is specialized in fresh seafood!

Cayo Zapatilla - End this wonderful day in the middle of a remote Island, sunbathe and enjoy!

Return to Bocas del Toro 

day 7 / BOQUETE

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Transfer to Boquete (approx 3.5 hours) 

Lunch Break

Coffee Tour - Home to almost 2000 coffee plantations, the people of Boquete know their coffee. Of the 400 kinds of coffee berries grown worldwide, you can find 50 of those varieties grown in Boquete. During the tour you will learn all about coffee, coffee production and processing, and have a great coffee tasting of the different types offered at the farm. Your guide will break down misconceptions about coffee, inform you about different coffees around the world, and teach you what makes Panamanian coffee special.

day 8 / BOQUETE

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Canopy Tree Trek - The Boquete Tree Trek is a zipline tour located in the forested highlands above Boquete. The setting – big trees, stunning views – is perfect for a canopy adventure. 

Lunch Break

Pipeline Trail - This cloud forest trek offers a wonderful opportunity to explore lush jungle and spot exotic Panamanian wildlife. The trail finishes with a hidden waterfall at the end of the out-and-back trail. 

day 9 / LA FORTUNA/SAN JOSE

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Morning: Free Time & Cultural Immersion

Transfer to David (approx. 1 hour)

Jose de Obaldia Museum of History and Culture- The museum is actually the original home of Obaldia who founded the local province. Exhibits includes artifacts from archeological sites as well as photos, furnishings and original artworks. The museum is open daily and also includes a garden which had previously been used in traditional medicines produced in David.
