day 1 / DEPARTURE
Depart Home for Belize City, Belize

Arrive in Belize City, Belize

Private Bus Transfer to San Ignacio (approx. 2 hrs)

Check in, Relax and Refresh

Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do in case of an emergency.

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

day 2 / SAN IGNACIO

Cahal Pech - Cahal Pech was a ceremonial center, with temples, palaces, and a ball court. The site offers you a spectacular panoramic view of San Ignacio and the Belize River Valley.

Lunch Break

Excursion to ATM Cave - Deep within the forests lies a wonder of both ancient and natural Belize. Following a 45-minute hike through the beautiful Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve with numerous jungle stream crossings, visitors find a crystal-clear stream flowing from the cave opening.

Depart to Xunantunich

Chocolate Making Experience

Xunantunich Ancient Maya Archaeological Site - The name of this ancient Mayan ruin is a tongue twister, but to indigenous peoples who made this sacred site their home for millennia, Xunantunich was a safe, secure hilltop area with plenty of vantage points, just in case a neighboring army of usurpers or explorers from abroad sought to claim this stronghold.

Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve - Explore 2 of its beautiful natural attractions: Rio Frio Cave, an impressive cave, which has one of the biggest openings in all of Belize. The Rio Frio (Cold River) that calmly flows through the cave, then drive to Rio On Pools.
