Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do in case of an emergency.

Guided Tour of Historical Vienna - The guided tour of Vienna includes a visit to historic landmarks such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, Karlskirche, and much more.

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets at a restaurant offering modern Austrian cuisine.

Lecture at University of Vienna – Faculty of Law - topics include international law, human rights law, and business law. University o f Vienna is one of the oldest and most prestigious law faculties in Europe, with a history dating back over 600 years. Faculty members are renowned experts in their fields, and the faculty is consistently ranked among the top law schools in Europe.

Visit to the Austrian Ombudsman Board (AOB) - An independent institution responsible for investigating complaints and grievances regarding administrative actions and decisions made by government agencies and public authorities. The board also promotes transparency, accountability, and good governance in the public sector, and provides advice and guidance to individuals seeking to exercise their rights and freedoms. The board is composed of a team of experts with legal and administrative backgrounds, and has the authority to make recommendations to government agencies and public authorities to improve their practices and procedures.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) - Visit to a global organization that provides support to countries in combating crime, including organized crime, human trafficking, and drug trafficking. They provide information on international criminal justice institutions and trends in global criminal justice.

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights (BIM) - Visit a research institute based in Vienna, focused on promoting and protecting human rights both nationally and internationally. The institute conducts research on a wide range of human rights issues, including minority rights, equality and non-discrimination, and access to justice. It also provides expertise and advice to governments, NGOs, and other organizations on human rights-related matters.

European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) - Visit to an independent agency of the European Union dedicated to promoting and protecting fundamental rights across the EU. The agency provides evidence-based advice to EU institutions and Member States, and works to raise public awareness of fundamental rights issues. It conducts research and collects data on a wide range of fundamental rights topics, including discrimination, hate crime, and access to justice.

The Austrian Federal Police (Bundespolizei) - Visit to the national police force of Austria, responsible for maintaining public safety and security throughout the country. The force is organized into specialized units, including the Criminal Intelligence Service, the Federal Criminal Police Office, and the Directorate for Public Security. The Austrian Federal Police is also responsible for border control and immigration enforcement, and works closely with law enforcement agencies in other European countries to combat transnational crime.

The Prison Guards Corps of Austria (Justizwache) - Visit to Justizwache, who are responsible for managing and maintaining Austria's correctional facilities. The corps employs over 5,000 staff, who are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of prisoners, enforcing discipline, and providing rehabilitation and reintegration programs. The corps also works closely with other agencies, including the police and the courts, to ensure that the justice system functions effectively.

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice - Visit to an institution that is responsible for developing and implementing criminal justice policies and legislation in Austria. The ministry oversees the country's court system, prosecutorial services, and correctional facilities, and works to ensure that Austria's justice system is fair, effective, and transparent. The ministry is also responsible for Austria's international legal obligations, including human rights treaties and agreements with other countries.

The Austrian Bar (Österreichischer Rechtsanwaltskammertag, ÖRAK) - Visit to the professional association for lawyers in Austria, responsible for regulating the legal profession and promoting the rule of law. The bar sets ethical and professional standards for lawyers, provides training and education, and represents the interests of its members to government and other stakeholders. The Austrian Bar also plays a role in ensuring access to justice, by providing legal aid to those who cannot afford legal representation.

Sigmund Freud University Vienna - Faculty of Law -Visit to a private law school that offers interdisciplinary approaches to legal education. The faculty emphasizes the importance of legal psychology, philosophy, and sociology in the study and practice of law. Faculty members are experienced practitioners and scholars, who bring a unique perspective to legal education.
