Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Tour the Forum, Palatine Hill, Colosseum - The Foro Romano (Roman Forum) is located just to the west of the Colosseum and is the truly ancient city of Rome – the very place where history took place, with processions, criminal trials, elections, and intrigue all happening here. It was the site of the original Senate, and where Caesar’s body was brought following his assassination. The ruins of some of Rome’s most important ancient structures can be found at or near the Forum. The Colosseum is the world-famous icon, an ancient amphitheater dating from AD 70 and is the unmissable sight of Rome.  The flat-topped Palatine Hill that rises above the Forum is where the emperors built their palaces (and indeed “Palatine” is the source of the word “palace”. 

MAXXI - The first Italian public museum devoted to contemporary creativity, arts, and architecture provides not only an arena in which to exhibit art, but a research 'hothouse' – a space where contemporary languages of design, fashion, cinema, art, and architecture can meet in new dialogue.

Musée d’Orsay - Housed in the train station building, constructed by Victor Laloux for the 1900 World Fair, the Orsay is a national museum devoted to all the arts between 1848-1914. The various artistic movements represented include Academism, Realism, Impressionism, Symbolism, and Art nouveau.

Versailles Excursion - The Palace of Versailles is a magnificent example of French Baroque architecture, and is the most famous royal chateau in France. The Palace of Versailles, whose origins date back to the seventeenth century, was successively a hunting lodge, a ​seat of power and​,​ from the nineteenth century​,​ a museum. With the gardens and the ​​Palaces of Trianon, explore the park of the Château de Versailles that spreads over 800 hectares.

Royal Palace and Montpensier Gallery- Built for Cardinal Richelieu by French architect Lemercier, who also designed the Sorbonne, the main body (1634), opposite the Louvre, became a royal residence (during the regency of Anne of Austria) and then the seat of the Orléans family from 1661.  The palace was completed and modified in the 18th and 19th centuries. The three wings bordering the gardens date from the late 18th century.
