Irish Houses of Parliament & General Post Office - Parliament House was home to the Parliament of Ireland, and since 1803 has housed the Bank of Ireland. It was the world's first purpose-built bicameral parliament house.

Kilmainham Gaol - Opened in 1796 as the new County Gaol for Dublin and it closed its doors in 1924. Today the building symbolizes the tradition of militant and constitutional nationalism from the rebellion of 1798 to the Irish Civil War of 1922-23.
