Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do in case of an emergency.

Berlin Historical & Cultural Walking Tour - Visit the Brandenburg Gate, Site of Hitler’s Bunker, Holocaust Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt, The Berlin Wall, Pariser Platz, Luftwaffe HQ, Bebelplatz, TV Tower, Book Burning Memorial, and more.

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Reichstag Building Dome- On October 30, 1991, the Council of Elders of the Bundestag decided that the historic Reichstag building, by architect Paul Wallot from 1894, should be restored and used as the seat of an all-German parliament.

Travel to Leipzig (approx. 1.5 hours)

Wundt Room - The Institute hosts a small collection with exhibits from Wundt’s office and laboratory. Many of the original devices used for stimulus presentation and exact time measurement are presented.

Return to Berlin (approx. 1.5 hours)

The Wall Museum - Visitors experience the history of the division of Berlin and the fall of the Berlin Wall, staged using multimedia with a common thread from the construction of the Wall to its fall in 1989. The Mauer Museum is located in the former mill warehouse at the famous East Side Gallery and the Oberbaumbrücke border station.

Travel to Hamburg (approx. 2 hours)

Cultural Walking Tour - See the key sights of Germany's biggest port city. Catch glimpses of the Hamburg port and multiple bridges across the Elbe, and walk past architectural marvels such as the Elbphilharmonie, the baroque tower of Michel and the ruins of St Nicholas Church. Explore the bustling Reeperbahn area and its red-light district, as well as the Old Warehouse District which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Miniatur Wunderland - Miniatur Wunderland is the world’s largest model train exhibit. See trains running through recreations of Hamburg and the coast, Austria, the Grand Canyon, and Scandinavia.

Return to Berlin (approx. 2 hours)

Museum Island – Museum Island is a unique ensemble of five museums on Spree Island in the district of Mitte in Berlin. The entire complex is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Hofburg Palace - The Hofburg Palace is the imperial seat of the Hapsburg Dynasty in Austria. Every inch of this palace drips in luxury and royalty. There is much history here as the palace served as the prime residence for Empress Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz II, and, for a while, even the German Emperor.
