day 1 / DEPARTURE

Depart Home for Lima, Peru 

Arrive in Lima, Peru 

Airport Transfer 

Check-In and Relax

Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

day 2 / LIMA

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Lima City Tour -  Plaza de Armas, Lima Cathedral, Catacombs, Palacio de Gobierno, Casa Aliaga, Convento de San Francisco, drink Pisco Sour at Hotel Bolivar, Peruvian Market, Miraflores , Kennedy park and Larcomar , Change of guard at the main square

Lunch Break 

Larco Museum - This museum showcases chronological galleries that provide a thorough overview of 5,000 years of Peruvian pre-Columbian history. 

Circuito Mágico de Agua - Reach Parque de la Reserva to see this sumptuous ensemble of illuminated fountains, this show  is so over the top that it will leave even the most cynical and seasoned traveler in awe. Seeing is believing

day 3 / LIMA

Palomino Islands   - Experience an unforgettable 4-hour journey to the Palomino Islands aboard a comfortable and safe yacht. Observe penguins and other seabirds along the coastline of this protected area. Jump into the water and bathe next to a colony of 1000s of sealions.

Sacred Valley Tour - Learn about Peru’s ancient past & vibrant present in the fertile heartlands of the Sacred Valley. Visit the traditional town Pisac and its market, the archaeological site at Ollantaytambo and learn more about traditional weaving in Chinchero by visiting a local Llama Farm. Lunch box included.

day 6 / CUSCO

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Short Inca Trail (approx 5 hrs) - Reach the most beautiful Incan site on the Inca Trail, Wiñay Wayna (Forever Young) at 2,700m. Enjoy tremendous views of Machu Picchu, the Urubamba River and other surrounding Inca sites. Lunch box included.

Optional alternative for who doesn’t want to do the trekking - Train to Agua Calientes.

Visit Machu Picchu - Catch the sunrise at Machu Picchu with a guided tour that will bring the Lost City of the Incas to life for you.

day 8 / CUSCO

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Maras - This otherwise modest village is proud to offer the world an invaluable treasure, in the form of the famous Maras salt. These saltpans create an impressive spectacle: hundreds of pure white pools, around which it is possible to walk. And local people offer every imaginable product made from this precious salt, even chocolates!

Moray - In this archeological site you’ll see the experimental farming terraces from the Incas time, also called “muyus” , those were excavated from the earth to create different microclimates.

Chinchero - We will visit a traditional local community where you will learn about the ancient textile techniques

Arrive in Cusco - Check-In, Relax and Refresh

day 9 / CUSCO

day 10 / CUSCO

Early Departure to Vinicunca (approx. 3 hours - 4AM)  

Rainbow Mountain- A wonderful one day trek from Cusco to visit the increasingly popular natural, multi-colored "rainbow mountain" (Vinicunca). You have the option to hike or ride a horse through the beautiful Andean valley to the top viewpoint. Along the way you will see snow capped peaks, herds of alpaca, glaciers and birds of prey, all set within this incredibly stunning mountain range at 5,200m above sea level. Sediment of minerals give the mountains its distinctive turquoise, lavender, gold colors.

Return to Cusco around 5 PM

day 11 / PUNO

Bus Transfer to Puno

Stop at Raqchi - This temple is from the most important attractions from the south valley and it is considered to be the temple dedicated to wiracocha the creator of the universe.

Stop at Andahuaylillas Church - The Sistine Chapel of the Andes. The construction of the current temple started in 1570 with the creation of a small chapel corresponding to the existing apse and sanctuary.

Stop at Huaca Pucllana - Huaca Pucllana is an archaeological site belonging from the period of regional developments (200 - 700 AD), located in the district of Miraflores, province of Lima. The archaeological complex was abandoned for many years, it was used as a dunghill and was even used to practice motocross. Since 1981 it has been researched, preserved and restored  as cultural heritage.

day 12 / PUNO

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Lake Titicaca Tour - Take a boat tour of Lake Titicaca and explore the man made reed islands. Meet the communities who live on the lake and discover the history of the reed islands and how they are built. We will continue to a peninsula laying on Lake Titicaca, called Uros Island, where we will meet the local host family you will be staying with this evening. Enjoy helping the family with the routines of daily life for a true Peruvian cultural immersion.

day 13 / PUNO

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Taquile Island - On the other side of Titicaca lake lay Taquile Island, its remote location has allowed locals to continue their traditions without too much Western influence. Stunning lake and mountain landscapes and spectacular weaving traditions await you here, with the opportunity to interact with local people and their traditions.

Return to Puno

day 14 /

Transfer to Juliaca (approx. 1 hour) 

Flight to Lima (approx. 2 hours)
