day 2 / TOKYO

Arrive in Tokyo, Japan

Airport Transfer

Orientation Walking Tour - The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

Welcome Dinner - The group will be taken for an authentic Japanese dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

day 3 / TOKYO

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Historical & Cultural Tour of Tokyo - Imperial Palace, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Metropolitan Govt Building, Meiji Shinto Shrine and more.

Lunch Break

Tokyo National Museum - This famous museum houses the largest collection of Japanese artifacts and artworks in the world. With over 100,000 pieces and room to display only 4,000, exhibits are rotated constantly.

Business Visit 1 - Umbrella Shop (1-9-1 Jiyugaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo) - TBC - An umbrella specialty store with 10 thousand umbrellas of 500 different kinds

Train Transfer to Shinjuku (approx 15 mins)

Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden & Tea Ceremony - In this unique experience you will be guided through step by step of a traditional tea ceremony.

Shibuya District - Shibuya is a center for youth fashion and culture and its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan's fashion and entertainment trends.

day 5 / TOKYO

Business Visit 2 - Kappabashi Dori - TBC - Replica Foods Workshop - Back in the Showa period a man named Takizo Iwasaki decided to form a company to make replica food. In 1932 he opened a factory in Osaka and it became the largest food display company in Japan. During this workshop students will get to make their own replica food with the help of the professionals.

Senso-ji Shrine - Experience the story of the oldest temple in Tokyo, and the people of Japan.

day 6 / TOKYO-YOKOHAMA

Travel to Yokohama (approx 45 mins)

Business Visit 3 - Nissan Plant & Museum Tour - TBC - At Yokohama plant, you can see the mass-production engines alongside the production line. Additionally a recently-renovated guest hall and engine museum with Nissan’s highlights. At Nissan Global Headquarter gallery, you can see the various car models line-up.

Lunch Break 

Cup Noodle Museum - The concept of the Cup Noodles Museum is "creative thinking". At this interactive museum dedicated to the inventor of Cup Noodles, Momofuku Ando, you will learn about the revolutionary business idea and how it became an international success.

Business Visit 5 - Kikuichi Monju Shiro Kanenaga Knife Store - TBC - The Kikuichi Company has a long and distinguished history. Some seven hundred years ago the Emperor Gotoba authorized this family ancestors to be one of his swordsmiths. Today Shiro Kanenaga’s original swords are considered national treasures in Japan and are on display at Seikado Bunko Art Museum in Tokyo

Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple- Explore this vast area of 660 hectares renowned for its free-roaming deer and world famous temples.

day 9 / KYOTO-OSAKA

Bullet Train to Osaka (approx. 30 mins)

Osaka Castle - This imposing castle is a symbol of Osaka- The Castle has served as the scene of various conflicts, and was burned down and rebuilt several times. The current castle keep was rebuilt in 1931.

Lunch Break 

Tenjinbashisuji Shopping District - experience this 2.6 km Japanese-style shopping street and arcade.

Business Visit 6 - Animate Osaka Nipponbashi  - TBC - Anime is visible everywhere. In adverts, in branding for water and snacks, on trains, school buses, and in airports. It has become a ubiquitous cultural force that has come to define the country itself.
