MINDFUL SOCIAL GASTRONOMY

During this interactive workshop, students learn from a group of women from Medellin’s most transformed neighbourhood how to cook simple yet delicious meals using locally grown produce and the importance of mindful gastronomy on local communities.

ANCIENT BAG WEAVING AND MEDICINAL MEDICINES

Experience one of the most sacred traditions in the Arhuaco native culture by taking part in an unique bag weaving workshop from Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Women from the Arhuaco community teach students about their ancient tradition that remains prominent today. Students learn how the community harnesses the power of Mother Nature in their daily lives and the use of local medicinal plants in fighting diseases.
