DAY 1 – DEPARTURE – Saturday, August 12

Depart Home for Mumbai, India

 

DAY 2 – MUMBAI – Sunday, August 13

Arrive in Mumbai, India (early morning)

Airport Transfer 

Early Check-in, Relax & Refresh

Breakfast 

Late afternoon – Safety and cultural in-country orientation now that the group is well-rested and recuperated from the long flight

Walk in the nearby area in the evening

 

DAY 3 – MUMBAI – Monday, August 14

First part of the day – Lecture on the overview of the Healthcare system in India 

Free Time in Mumbai

 

DAY 4 – MUMBAI – Tuesday, August 15

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

City Discovery – Today it’s India celebrates Independence Day (National Holiday). View the flag hoisting process and local sightseeing.

 

DAY 5 – MUMBAI/PUNE – Wednesday, August 16

Breakfast & Day Briefing

Lecture about the economic pharmacy and vaccination systems in India (tbc)

Late afternoon travel to Pune by Bus or Train 

Check-in to the hotel

DAY 6 – PUNE – Thursday, August 17

DAY 12 – MUMBAI – Wednesday, August 23

First half of the day – Visit to the Health Clinic of a private General Practitioners (Physician), a world of treating patients from the low/ mid-income group and an alternative to government hospitals.

Check out and base shift to a location near the airport
