Itinerary
DAY 1 – DEPARTURE – Saturday, February 25
- Depart Home for Bogota, Colombia
- Arrival in Bogota, Colombia

- Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency.Â
- Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.
DAY 2 – BOGOTA – Sunday, February 26

- Social Enterprise Visit – Spend the day learning about a social enterprise, which is driving a successful business while protecting the native forests and supporting families affected by the armed conflict.Â

DAY 3 – BOGOTA – Monday, February 27

- Gold Museum Experience a museum with displays of the most dazzling collections of gold in South America.
Monserrate Sanctuary – Enjoy stunning city views. Its history dates back to 1640 when permission was granted to build a hermitage atop the mountain. The small chapel was dedicated to the Virgen Morena de Monserrate, in homage to a similar sanctuary, which still stands today in the mountains outside Barcelona, Spain - Structured Free Time & Cultural Immersion

DAY 4 – BOGOTA/SALENTO – Tuesday, February 28

DAY 5 – SALENTO – Wednesday, March 1

- Jeep Transfer to Kasaguadua (approx 15 mins) Explore a Conservation Project – Here, students will be shown the importance of living in harmony with nature, and will learn about the unique Paramo ecosystems. Also, they will see the tallest palm-tree species in the world.
- Jeep Transfer to Cocora Valley – Arrived in this beautiful valley you will take an easy 2-3 hrs walk alongside the highest palm trees of the region and will visit the hummingbirds sanctuary. Â

DAY 6 – SALENTO/MEDELLIN – Thursday, March 2
