Itinerary

DAY 1 – DEPARTURE – Monday, May 13

Depart Home for Athens, Greece

 

DAY 2 – ATHENS – Tuesday, May 14

Arrive in Athens, Greece

Airport Transfer – Private Bus

Check-in, Relax & Refresh
Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do in case of an emergency. 

Welcome Dinner

Overnight in Athens 

 

DAY 3 – ATHENS – Wednesday, May 15

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Athens Acropoli Walking Tour – Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, Propylaea,  Erechtheum, and other ruins on site – Led by faculty

Lunch Break

Acropolis Museum Led by faculty

Overnight in Athens

 

DAY 4 – DELPHI/ATHENS – Thursday, May 16

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Bus to Delphi with tour leader

Explore Delphi – Walk up to Mt. Parnassus along the Sacred Way, past the Treasuries, the Temple of Apollo, the Theater of Dionysus, and  the Stadium where the Pythian Games were once held. – Led by faculty

Lunch Break

Delphi Museum – Led by faculty

Dinner downtown (students will have dinner on their own)

Overnight in Athens

 

DAY 5 – ATHENS/AEGINA – Friday, May 17

Breakfast & Day Briefing
Travel to Aegina (Train + Ferry)

Transfer to accommodation 

Explore the city Led by faculty

Lunch Break

Sister City Function OR Visit to Monastery of the Holy Trinity Led by faculty

Overnight in Aegina

 

DAY 6 – AEGINA/ATHENS/KOS – Saturday, May 18

Transfer to Port
Travel to Athens Airport (Ferry + Train)

Flight to Kos

Transfer to accommodation in Kos

Asklepieion Medical Center– According to travel time – Led by faculty

DAY 7 – KOS/KALYMNOS – Sunday, May 19

Travel to Kalymnos (Transfer + Ferry)

University of the Aegean – Meeting organized and led by faculty

 

DAY 12 – RHODES – Friday, May 24

Travel to Symi (Walk + Ferry)

Activities organized by Faculty – Meet with people for Sister City association

Lunch Break

Monastery of Saint Archangel Michael –  If possible according to Ferries schedule,

Return to Rhodes (Walk + Ferry)

 

DAY 13 – RHODES – Saturday, May 25

Bus tour to Lindos  Led by faculty

Bus tour to Faliraki, Kalithea Led by faculty

Farewell Dinner & Program Closing

Payments Schedule

150 days prior to departure $500 per person is due and payable by December 29, 2023.

90 days prior to departure, the second payment in the amount of 50% of the remaining amount is due and payable by February 27, 2024.

60 days prior to departure, the third and final payment in the amount of the remaining amount is due and payable by March 28, 2024.
