Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure – Sunday, May 17th

Depart Home for Barcelona, Spain

Day 2 – Barcelona – Monday, May 18th

  • Arrive in Barcelona, Spain
  • Airport Transfer
  • Check In, Relax & Refresh
  • Orientation Walking Tour –The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic Spanish dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – Barcelona – Tuesday, May 19th

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Dance Class
  • Historical & Cultural Walking Tour of Barcelona – The group will be taken for an interactive guided tour of the city’s main attractions where they will learn about the history of Barcelona and more…
  • Lunch Break
  • Flamenco Group Class – Discover the roots of the Andalucian dance from the ‘bailadores’ (professional Flamenco dancers). Olé!
  • Flamenco Show –After partaking in the class with the pros, enjoy an authentic Flamenco Dance Show. It dynamically presents several of the most important palos or styles of flamenco so that the spectator can get to know the richness and variety of this art form.

Day 4 – Barcelona – Wednesday, May 20th

  • Walking Tour of Barri Gòtic – The beautiful neighbourhood known as the Gothic Quarter is so called because it used to be the Roman village and thus has some remnants of its glorious past.
  • Lunch Break
  • Parc Guell Tour – Park Guell is one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who projected it in 1900. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, recognizing its patrimonial and cultural value as a symbol of modern architecture, being one of the biggest exponents of Gaudi’s modernism.

Day 5 – Barcelona – Thursday, May 21st

  • Dance Class – Rumba and Flamenco Classes
  • Lunch Break
  • Sagrada Familia Guided Tour – A UNESCO World Heritage site and Antoni Gaudi’s magnum opus, is undoubtedly the most iconic structure in Barcelona (and the most popular, with nearly 3 million visitors per year). Construction has been ongoing for more than 135 years, and the surreal structure, with its rainbow-hued stained glass windows, is slated for completion in 2026.

Day 6 – Barcelona – Friday, May 22nd

Day 7 – Girona – Saturday, May 23rd

  • Travel to Girona (approx. 1 hour)
  • Walking Tour of Girona – Onyar River, Jewish Quarter, Cathedral and more…

  • Museum and Theatre of Salvador Dali – Capture the artistic journey of Salvador Dalí through a broad spectrum of works. The route around the rooms allows visitors to capture his first artistic experiences, surrealism, nuclear mysticism and his passion for science, guiding them to the works of the last part of his life.

Day 8 – Barcelona – Sunday, May 24th

Day 9 – Barcelona – Monday, May 25th

  • Half-Day Trip to Montserrat – Enjoy spectacular views from the Montserrat mountains and visit a monastery.

  • Return to Barcelona
  • Spanish Cooking Class & Dinner – The experience starts with a guided tour of Barcelona’s world-famous food market, La Boqueria. Here you will get to see the vibrant bazaar in action, with its colourful food stalls that sell wriggling fresh seafood, nuts, cheeses, fruits, conserves and every cut of meat known to man. Once you’ve bought all the ingredients you need it’s time to head back to the kitchen…
