Designed by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the futuristic complex comprises five elements: Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, L’Oceanografic, L’Hemisferic, El Museu de Ciencies Principe Felipe, and L’Umbracle.

  • Papa Luna Castle – The castle of Peñíscola is known as the castle of Pope Luna since Pope Benedict XIII of Avignon (Pedro Martínez de Luna) lived there from 1411 until his death in 1423.
