Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure – Monday, May 15

  • Depart Home for Edinburgh, Scotland

Day 2 – Edinburgh – Tuesday, May 16

  • Arrive in Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Airport Transfer – Check-in, Relax & Refresh
    Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 
  • Historical & Cultural Walking Tour of Edinburgh 
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – Edinburgh – Wednesday, May 17

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Edinburgh Castle – Edinburgh Castle, stronghold that was once the residence of Scottish monarchs and now serves mostly as a museum.
  • Lunch Break
  • Surgeon’s Hall Museums – Surgeons’ Hall Museums is an award winning Museum that is home to one of the largest and most historic pathology collections in the United Kingdom.

Day 4 – Edinburgh – Thursday, May 18

  • National Museum of Scotland – Meet Dolly the sheep, the first cloned mammal ever to be created from an adult cell.

  • Scottish Storytelling Center – The Scottish Storytelling Centre is  the world’s first purpose built modern centre for live storytelling.

Day 5 – Edinburgh – Friday, May 19

  • Botanical Gardens – The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is a scientific centre for the study of plants, their diversity and conservation, as well as a wonderful way to spend a beautiful morning.
  • Edinburgh Food Tour – During the food tour, you will not just eat delicious treats but also learn about the history of the food so you can understand Edinburgh’s thriving culinary scene. You’ll see Edinburgh’s Old Town on a personal level and taste the dishes beloved by the locals. Eat traditional Scottish food such as authentic haggis, Scottish treats, desserts, and cheeses.

Day 6 – Edinburgh/Dublin – Saturday, May 20

Day 8 – Dublin – Monday, May 22

  • Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) – IMMA provides an extraordinary space where contemporary life and contemporary art connect, challenge and inspire one another.
  • Dublin Food Tour – Our Dublin Food Tour is a great introduction to Irish food and Dublin’s food scene. We spend approximately 3 hours walking around Dublin, stopping at award-winning eateries and food shops in the city to taste some delicious food.

Day 9 – Dublin – Tuesday, May 23

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Cliffs of Moher & Burren Full Day Excursion – Admire the stunning Irish countryside and travel along the Wild Atlantic Way to the incredible 700-foot high Cliffs of Moher. Browse intriguing exhibitions in the visitor center; marvel at the lunar limestone landscape of Burren, renowned for its rare flowers; and absorb the cosmopolitan charm of Galway City during some leisurely free time.
  • Return to Dublin

Day 10 – Dublin – Wednesday, May 24

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Howth Harbour & Cliffs – The Howth Cliffs are located northeast of Dublin and have over 10 miles of hiking and walking trails with views of Lambay Island, Irelands Eye, the village of Howth, and the gorgeous, rocky coastline.     
  • Farewell Dinner & Program Closing

Day 11 – Return – Thursday, May 25

  • Depart Dublin, Ireland for Home
