Itinerary

DAY 01- Departure – Saturday, July 17

  • Depart Home for Paris, France

DAY 02– Paris – Sunday, July 18

  • Arrive in Paris, France

  • Montmartre Orientation Tour – Known for the picturesque alleys and the stunning view over the city, Montmartre hosted the houses and studios of many artists such as Monet, Renoir, Degas, van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Mondrian, Modigliani, Picasso and Tzara, the founder of the Dada movement.
    Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic French dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets. 

DAY 03– Paris – Monday, July 19

  • St. Denis Full Day Excursion – The cathedral was the first built in France in the Gothic architectural style, noted for its intricate stained glass and a statue collection representative of the era. The church is also the final resting place for much of France’s royalty. A walk past the burial chambers and tombs of kings and queens of France tells centuries of the country’s history. Long a place of pilgrimage, all but three of France’s monarchs from the 10th to 18th century were buried there.

DAY 04– Paris -Tuesday, July 20

  • Sainte Chapelle & Notre-Dame – the Sainte-Chapelle chapel is a jewel of Gothic art. Built in the 12th century, the upper chapel of the monument is covered in 600 m² of stained-glass windows, of which two thirds are authentic.

DAY 05– Paris -Wednesday, July 21

  • Musée d’Orsay – Housed in the train station building, constructed by Victor Laloux for the 1900 World Fair, the Orsay is a national museum devoted to all the arts between 1848-1914. The various artistic movements represented include Academism, Realism, Impressionism, Symbolism, Art nouveau.
  • Lunch Break
  • Eiffel Tower & Champ de Mars – An object of discord, desire and fascination, the Eiffel Tower never fails to impress. Enriched by a history full of new developments, the iconic Parisian landmark has loomed over the city since 1889.

DAY 06– Paris -Thursday, July 22

  • Musée du Louvre – Once the Palace of the Kings of France, it is now the world’s largest art museum, with works from the Middle Ages to 1848.
  • Les Passages & Opera – The covered passages were an early form of pedestrianized shopping arcade, with glass ceilings,  built during the first half of the 19th century. There are more than 20 covered passages in the area between Etienne Marcel, Pyramides, Le Peletier and Chateau d’Eau.

DAY 07– Paris – Friday, July 23

  • Versailles Excursion – The Palace of Versailles is a magnificent example of French Baroque architecture, is the most famous royal chateau in France.

DAY 08– Paris – Saturday, July 24

  • Le Marais Market – Housed in a renovated orphanage, this historic covered market offers farmer’s market fare as well as amazing food options! Here you’ll find fresh products, butchers, fishmongers, dairies, florists and incredible restaurants and food stands from all over the world.

Program payments

1st Payment: 150 days prior to departure $500* is due and payable by February 17, 2021.
2nd Payment: 90 Days prior to departure second payment in the amount of $1,187 is due and payable by April 18, 2021.
3rd Payment: 60 Days prior to departure is the third payment in the amount of $1,188 is due and payable by May 18, 2021.

Notes: 

Payment Policy: The 1st deposit is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. If the trip is canceled for not reaching the minimum number of participants the deposit will also be refunded.
