Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure

  • Depart Home for Lima, Peru
  • Arrive in Lima, Peru – Airport Transfer
  • Check-in, Relax & Refresh
  • Welcome Dinner & Group Discussions – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 2 – Cusco

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Airport Transfer – Flight to Cusco (approx. 2 hours)
  • Check In – Orientation – Altitude Acclimatization

  • Cusco Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – For Incas,Cusco was the belly button of the world. A visit to this city tumbles you back into the cosmic realm of ancient Andean culture.

Day 3 – Cusco

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuamán Tipon & Pikillacta – The archaeological park of Sacsayhuamán, covers approximately 3,000 hectares, and houses exuberant Andean flora and fauna, also has extraordinary Inca and pre-Inca precincts, archaeological monuments like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo (Kencco), Puca Pucará and Tambomachay.
  • Return to Cusco

Day 4 – Ollantaytambo

  • Breakfast – Day Briefing
  • Sacred Valley Excursion – The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a crucial area for the Inca empire and it functioned as both an agricultural, spiritual and political center for them.
  • Pisaq Archaeological Site
  • Amaru Local Community Visit – Potato Agriculture, Ancient Farming Lesson, Discussions Community Leaders – Struggles with Farming Today
  • Group Lunch with Local Chef
  • Transfer to Ollantaytambo

Day 5 – Ollantaytambo

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Willoq Local Community Visit – Alpaca Farming, Wool Processing & Textile Making – The high Andean community Willoq, one of the few villages that still preserve their authentic language, food, clothing (weaving and manufacturing their clothes) and ancient traditions that are reflected in the daily lives of residents.
  • Archeological Park of Ollantaytambo – Ollantaytambo is one of the most important towns of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 6 – Santa Teresa

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Ancient Inca Trail (3 Hours)
  • Coffee Plantation Visit (Growing, Processing & Roasting)
  • Peruvian Medicinal Plants Presentation
  • Andean BBQ
  • Hot Springs Cocalmayo – Take a dip in the hot springs of Cocalmayo, enjoy the outdoor swimming pools fed by natural hot springs, built between a small mountain full of vegetation and the Urubamba River. You will find 3 pools of different sizes and depths. Unlike most thermal waters in Peru, it has clear waters.
