DAY 1 – DEPARTURE – Wednesday, May 22

DAY 2 – OSAKA – Thursday, May 23

Arrive in Osaka, Japan

Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

Osaka Welcome Dinner – Renowned for its delectable soul food, Osaka is an essential destination for foodies. In fact, the well-known motto of the city’s exuberant inhabitants is kuidaore or ‘eat until you drop,’ so be prepared to do just that.

 

DAY 3 – OSAKA – Friday, May 24

Historical & Cultural Walking Tour of Osaka 

Osaka Castle – Osaka Castle is an important historic monument that represents the great history of Azuchi-Momoyama period during the sixteenth century.

Osaka Sumiyoshi Shrine – This is one of Japan’s oldest shrines and was founded in the 3rd century before the introduction of Buddhism. It displays a unique style of shrine architecture

DAY 4 – OSAKA – Saturday, May 25

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Make your way to Kobe (just 30 mins from Osaka on the local train)Kobe is an enchanting port city perched gracefully on the edge of Osaka Bay. It possesses a distinctive skyline, instantly recognisable by the view of blazing red Kobe Port Tower standing prominently and proudly on the harbourfront.

Visit Ikuta Shrine – This is an over 1800 year old shrine that venerates the goddess Wakahirume-no-Mikoto.

Sake Brewers Museum – Learn more about the ancient tradition of brewing sake, before taking a sample yourself

Cable Car to Mt Rokko – Enjoy stunning views of the city from above.

DAY 5 – OSAKA/KYOTO – Sunday, May 26

Payments Schedule

190 days prior to departure $500 is due and payable by December 24, 2023.

90 days prior to departure, the second payment in the amount of 50% of the remaining amount is due and payable by February 22, 2024.

60 days prior to departure, the third and final payment in the amount of the remaining amount is due and payable by March 23, 2024.
