Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure

  • Depart Home for Oslo, Norway

Day 2 – Oslo

  • Arrive in Oslo, Norway
  • Airport Transfer – Private Bus
  • Check In, Relax & Refresh
  • Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. 
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – Oslo

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Oslo Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – Parliament House, University of Oslo, the National Theatre, Royal Palace and more…
  • Lunch Break
  • International Children’s Art Museum – Museum with children’s art from 180 countries. See the world through the eyes of children with the help of textiles, drawings, paintings, sculptures and more. The three basic functions of the museum are to collect, preserve and promote children’s art worldwide.
  • Vigeland Park – Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen in Norwegian), The Monolith (Monolitten) and The Wheel of Life (Livshjulet).

Day 4 – Oslo

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Bus to Vinterbro (approx. 1 hour)
  • TusenFryd Theme Park – Norway’s largest amusement park, with more than 30 fun attractions, special rides for the smallest kids, and the water park BadeFryd.
  • Return to Oslo

Day 5 – Oslo

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Visit Urtehagen Barnehage Preschool – Urtehagen Barnehage consists of 6 preschools, all located in Oslo. Nearly 300 children attend their schools daily.
  • Lunch Break
  • The Viking Ship & Historical Museum – Learn about the lives and adventures of the Vikings at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo. See ships that were built over 1,000 years ago. Watch an informative film to learn about the world’s three best-preserved Viking ships and hear stories about sailing the Norwegian fjords.

Day 6 – Oslo

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Oslo Reptile Park – Indoor zoo in the centre of Oslo with more than 100 animals, including boa constrictors, grass snakes, geckos, chameleons, lizards, a poison dart frog, tarantellas, a dwarf crocodile, monkeys, turtles and fish – and a black widow, the world’s most poisonous spider.
  • Lunch Break
  • Sofienberg Park – The biggest park in the Grünerløkka area is a popular recreational area for the locals, especially the younger generations. The park has table tennis tables and a fun playground for the kids.

Day 7 – Gothenburg

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Train to Gothenburg, Sweden (approx. 3.5 hours)
  • Check-in, Relax & Refresh
  • Gothenburg Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – Feskekôrka, Gustav Adolfs Torg, Domkyrkan, Kronhuset, Haga neighbourhood, Skansen Kronan and more…

Day 8 – Gothenburg

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Slottsskogen – Slottsskogen is a place for relaxation, recreation and outdoor activities. The mix between planned park and natural forest creates a fantastic environment. In and close to the park are cafés, playgrounds and much more…
  • Plikta Playground
  • Lunch Time
  • Gothenburg Museum of Natural History – At the Gothenburg Natural History Museum you can discover all most everything between heaven and earth.

Day 9 – Gothenburg

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • ABC All About Children Preschool Visit – ABC recognizes that the best education takes place in a fun, warm, accepting and challenging environment.
  • Lunch Break
  • Trädgårdsföreningen Park – Surrounded by lush trees in the park there’s an exciting playground, full of swings, slides and winding paths.
  • Scavenger Hunt

Day 10 – Gothenburg

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Liseberg Theme Park – As well as the fun in the amusement park, there are gardens, a sculpture park, hotels, bars, and restaurants.
  • Lunch Break
  • The Maritime Museum and Aquarium – Exhibitions about life under, above and at the water surface.

Day 11 – Gothenburg

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Universeum – Universeum is a place where play leads to knowledge. Here animals and nature mix with new technology and exciting experiments. Go on a rainforest safari, dive into the depths in the Ocean Zone or challenge your body and mind in Health. 
  • Structured Free Time
  • Farewell Dinner & Program Closing –  The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 12 – Return
