Itinerary

Day 1 – Albuquerque

  • Depart for Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • Arrive Albuquerque – Check-in & Refresh
  • Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth orientation will be provided covering health, safety and what to do in case of an emergency. 
  • National Hispanic Cultural Center – The National Hispanic Cultural Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities.
  • Central New Mexico Community College Visit Welcome Dinner & Program Orientation

Day 2 – Albuquerque

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Excursion to Acoma Pueblo Sky City – History & Culture Tour – Discover the traditional Native American culture and living history of Acoma Pueblo.
  • National Petroglyph Monument – Petroglyph National Monument protects one of the largest petroglyph sites in North America, featuring designs and symbols carved onto volcanic rocks by Native Americans and Spanish settlers 400 to 700 years ago. These images are a valuable record of cultural expression and hold profound spiritual significance for contemporary Native Americans and for the descendants of the early Spanish settlers.
  • Indian Pueblo Cultural Center – The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is a world-class museum and cultural center located in the historic Albuquerque Indian School District just minutes from Old Town and Downtown Albuquerque. Day 3 – Santa Fe

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Transfer to Santa Fe (approx. 1.5 hours)

  • Tour of Bandelier National Monument – Bandelier National Monument protects over 33,000 acres of rugged but beautiful canyon and mesa country as well as evidence of a human presence here going back over 11,000 years.  Petroglyphs, dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs, and standing masonry walls pay tribute to the early days of a culture that still survives in the surrounding communities.
  • Explore Tsankawi Pueblo Cliff Dwellings Archaeological Site
  • Free Time & Cultural Immersion
  • Transfer to Albuquerque (approx. 1.5 hours) 
  • Farewell Dinner & Program Closing

Day 5 – Return
