Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure – Tuesday, June 1

  • Depart Home for Bologna, Italy

Day 2 – Modena – Wednesday, June 2

  • Arrive in Bologna, Italy
  • Transfer to Modena (approx. ½ h)
  • Drop Bags & Refresh
  • Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.  
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic Italian dinner with a variety of options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – Modena – Thursday, June 3

  • Day Trip to Lake Garda – Sirmione & Scaligero Castle – Sirmione is a picturesque Italian town on a peninsula extending into Lake Garda in Northern Italy. Its description by Catullo as “the pearl of the islands and peninsulas” sums this small town of just over 8,000 residents up perfectly. It may be small, but there’s so much to do in and around Sirmione. With its pedestrianized centre full of attractive shops and eateries, you could easily while away a day strolling through the town’s winding streets and narrow alleys and enjoying its relaxed vibe

Payment Policy: The 1st deposit is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. If the trip is canceled for not reaching the minimum number of participants the deposit will also be refunded.
