Itinerary

DAY 1 – DEPARTURE – Friday, June 7 

Depart Home for Seoul, South Korea

 

DAY 2 – SEOUL – Saturday, June 8 

Arrive in Seoul, S.Korea

Airport Transfer

Check-in, Relax & Refresh
Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency. 

 

DAY 3 – SEOUL –  Sunday, June 9

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Transfer to Paju to join DMZ tour (about 50 mins drive)

– Imjingak / Bridge of Freedom / the 3 rd infiltration tunnel / Dora observatory /

Dorasan station

Lunch break and back to Seoul 

Visit War memorial of Korea

Welcome dinner including Meeting and Speech by North Korean Refugee – learn about the journey to South Korea and what life is like in the South (The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets)

 

DAY 4 – SEOUL – Monday June 10

Breakfast & Day Briefing 

Visit University of Seoul – Activities for this morning arranged by faculty with private contact at the University

Bukchon Hanok Village and Kimchi Making Experience

Back to hotel and free at your own leisure

DAY 5 – SEOUL – Tuesday, June 11

Breakfast & Day Briefing
Visit Police Museum (or similar)

119 Safety Experience Center

World Cup Park – This area was once waste landfill site and changed in to nature friendly park. We will visit Haneul Park among them.

Visit Hongdae street and visit Korean Dance School

Back to hotel and free at your own leisure

DAY 6 – SEOUL – Wednesday, June 12

Breakfast & Day Briefing
Rent Hanbok and Gyeongbok palace tour

Return Hanbok and visit Gwanghwamun square

National Museum of Korea Contemporary History

Visit Seoul City Hall

– Possibly visit to a city development office

Or visit to TOPIS (Transport Operation & Information Service)

Walking on Seoulro 7017 to see how the city scape changed for pedestrians

Back to hotel

 

DAY 7 – SEOUL – Thursday, June 13

Transfer to Yeouido for a facility tour of Korean Assembly

Visit the Hyundai Department store

Han River Cruise and free time at Hangang Riverside Park

Korean Cooking Class  – Make your own your own Korean dinner!

Back to hotel and free at your own leisure

Payments Schedule

120 days prior to departure $500 per person is due and payable by February 9, 2024.

90 days prior to departure, the second payment in the amount of 50% of the remaining amount is due and payable by March 9, 2024.

60 days prior to departure, the third and final payment in the amount of the remaining amount is due and payable by  April 8, 2024.
