Day 1 – Departure

Day 3 – Florence

Day 4 – Florence

- Galleria dell’Accademia – The Accademia Gallery’s collection includes priceless masterpieces and works of art in its various halls spread over two floors.
- Lunch Break at San Lorenzo Market
- Bargello National Museum – The National Museum has its setting in one of the oldest buildings in Florence that dates back to 1255. Initially the headquarters of the Capitano del Popolo (Captain of the People) and later of the Podestà , the palace became, in the sixteenth century, the residence of the Bargello that is of the head of the police (from which the palace takes its name) and was used as prison during the whole 18th century.

Day 5 – Florence
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Uffizi Gallery – The Gallery entirely occupies the first and second floors of the large building constructed between 1560 and 1580 and designed by Giorgio Vasari. It is famous worldwide for its outstanding collections of ancient sculptures and paintings (from the Middle Ages to the Modern period).
- Lunch Break
- Galileo Museum – The Galileo Museum in Florence hosts a collection dedicated to scientific instruments and the discoveries of the Pisan astronomer.
Day 6 – Assisi
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Train to Assisi (approx. 4 hours) – As the place where St. Francis was born, founded his order, and died, Assisi is a famous Roman Catholic shrine and a popular pilgrimage site.
- Lunch Break
- Historical & Cultural Walking Tour of Assisi
- Basilica di San Francesco d’Assisi – The Basilica dedicated to Saint Francis, is divided into two large churches on two different levels, Lower Basilica and the Upper Basilica, following the hill slope. This is surrounded by two large arcades visible from afar; these were built to retain the hillside during the construction of the church.
