Spend time in Rome walking around and discovering its treasures, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Sant’Ignazio church, the Vatican and more. Enjoy homemade gelato tasting sessions in one of Rome’s most renowned gelaterie. Spend two days in Florence visiting its Duomo, the Medici Palace, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Rose Garden. Take in the incredible view from Piazzale Michelangelo Lookout Point and admire world famous masterpieces at the Uffizi Gallery

Itinerary
Day 1 – Rome
- Meet the Group at the Hotel Program Orientation – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency.
Rome Walking Tour – Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain - Welcome Dinner at a Traditional Pizzeria – The group will be taken for an authentic pizza dinner at one of Rome’s authentic pizzerias..
Day 2 – Rome
- Breakfast & Day BriefingGelateria Fassi Tour & Tasting – An exclusive visit to the Laboratory of this traditional homemade gelateria, followed by a tasting of their best creations.
- Lunch Break
- Guided Tour of Colosseum & Roman Forum – The Colosseum (Colosseo) remains the largest amphitheater ever built and is one of the most recognizable and iconic symbols of Rome. The 5-story, elliptical structure measures 617-feet long, 512-feet wide, and 187-feet high and is made of travertine and brick.

Day 5 – Florence
- Breakfast & Day BriefingUffizi Gallery – The Gallery entirely occupies the first and second floors of the large building constructed between 1560 and 1580 and designed by Giorgio Vasari. It is famous worldwide for its outstanding collections of ancient sculptures and paintings (from the Middle Ages to the Modern period).

Day 6 – Rome
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Vatican Museum & St. Peter’s Basilica – The museum displays works from the immense collection amassed by popes throughout the centuries including several of the most renowned Roman sculptures and most important masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world. The museums contain roughly 70,000 works, of which 20,000 are on display, and currently employ 640 people who work in 40 different administrative, scholarly, and restoration departments.

Program payments
1st Deposit Payment of $400 due December 29th, 2020
2nd Payment of $495 due February 29th, 2021
3rd Payment of $495 due April 29th, 2021

– Payment Policy: The 1st deposit is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. If the trip is canceled for not reaching the minimum number of participants the deposit will also be refunded.Â
