Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure – Saturday
Depart Home for Athens, Greece
Day 2 – Athens – Sunday
- Arrive in Athens, Greece
- Airport Transfer
- Check-in at Place of Accommodation
- Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency.
- Welcome Dinner & Traditional Greek Dancing – The group will be taken for an authentic Greek dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets and traditional Greek dancing.
Day 3 – Athens – Monday
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Athens Walking Tour – Monastiraki, Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, Parliament, National Gardens, Temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium and more…
- Lunch Break
- National Archaeological Museum – The largest archaeological museum in Greece and one of the most important museums in the world devoted to ancient Greek art. It was founded at the end of the 19th century to house and protect antiquities from all over Greece, thus displaying their historical, cultural and artistic value.
- Free Evening and Cultural Immersion
Day 4 – Athens – Tuesday
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Acropolis Hills and Museum, Dionysus Theatre – The Acropolis Museum is consistently rated as one of the best museums in the world. Devoted to the Parthenon and its surrounding temples, it is cleverly perched above Athens like a luminous box.
- Lunch Time
- Greek Forum of Refugees – During this visit, students will learn about the refugee crisis in Greece and about the ongoing projects.
Day 5 – Sounion – Wednesday
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Transfer to Sounion along the Scenic Coastline (approx. 2 hours)
- Temple of Poseidon – Majestic Cape Sounion, a strategic point rising above the Aegean sea about 70 kilometers away from Athens in the southern region of Attica, was known by Ancient Greeks as the “Sacred Cape.”
- Lunch Break
- Afternoon at the beach
- Return to Athens
Day 6 – Athens – Thursday
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Local University Visit – To be confirmed
Day 7 – Epidaurus – Friday
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Transfer to Epidaurus (approx. 2 hours)
- Epidaurus – Located on the fertile Argolid plain of the east Peloponnese in Greece and blessed with a mild climate and natural springs, the sanctuary of Asclepius at Epidaurus was an important sacred centre in both ancient Greek and Roman times. The site is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

- Return to Athens (approx. 2 hours)
- Farewell Dinner & Program Closing
Day 8 – Return – Saturday
