Program Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure

Depart Home for Berlin, Germany

Day 2 – Berlin

  • Arrive in Berlin, Germany
  • Airport Transfer
  • Orientation Tour – The group will become oriented with their
    neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby
    pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic
    dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – Berlin

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Berlin Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – Brandenburg
    Gate, Site of Hitler’s Bunker, Holocaust Museum, Checkpoint
    Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt, The Berlin Wall, Pariser Platz,
    Luftwaffe HQ, Bebelplatz, TV Tower, Book Burning Memorial,
    Humboldt University
  • Lunch Break
  • Museum Island – Museum Island is a unique ensemble of
    five museums on Spree Island in the district of Mitte in Berlin.
    The entire complex is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage
    Site.

Day 4 – Berlin

  • The Reichstag Building – The Reichstag Building
    houses the German Parliament. Built in the 1894, it was
    burned in 1933 and was recently restored adding a stunning
    glass dome.
  • Lunch Break
  • Museum of Natural History – The Museum of Natural
    History in Berlin offers you an exciting insight into the
    natural world. Follow the development of life on our planet,
    and discover how different forms of life evolve. Be
    astonished by prehistoric animals, birds and the legendary
    polar bear Knut. Or look back into the genesis of the
    universe.

Day 5 – Berlin

  • Jewish Museum – The Jewish Museum Berlin, which
    opened to the public in 2001, exhibits the social, political
    and cultural history of the Jews in Germany from the fourth
    century to the present, explicitly presenting and integrating,
    for the first time in postwar Germany, the repercussions of
    the Holocaust.
  • Lunch Break
  • Berlinische Galerie – The Berlinische Galerie is one of
    the newest museums in the German capital and collects art
    from Berlin dating from 1870 to the present day – with both
    a local and international focus.

Day 6 – Potsdam

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Travel to Potsdam (approx. 1 hour)
  • Potsdam City Hall – The building that is today the
    Potsdam Town Hall is located in the center of the city. This
    impressive complex was built at the end of the 18th
    century in the Rococo style. Six domes dominate the
    structure and accentuate its grandeur.
  • Historical & Cultural Walking Tour of Potsdam –
    The Bridge of Spies, Schloss Sanssouci – Germany’s
    Versailles, The Potsdam Conference and Schloss
    Cecilienhof, Neuer Garten. Potsdam Centre: Brandenburger
    Straße and the Soldier King, The Dutch Quarter, Potsdam
    Brandenburger Tor, Church of Peace, Museum Barberini
  • Return to Berlin

Day 7 – Berlin

  • Berlin Alternative Walking Tour: Street Art
    Kreuzberg, Mauerpark & East Side Gallery

  • Historic City Cruise – On this tour, you will get to learn
    about the intriguing history of Berlin and see all the major
    attractions from a river cruise. Travel through Berlin on a
    1-hour river cruise from Friedrichstraße or Nikolaiviertel.
