Itinerary
Day 1 – Departure
Depart Home for London, England
Day 2 – London
- Arrive in London, England
- Airport Transfer
- Orientation Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.
- Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.
Day 3 – London
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- London Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – The Monument, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Church of the Knights Templar, Mansion House, London Bridge, The Globe Theatre, The Bank of England, The Royal Exchange.

- Freud Museum – Discover the story of psychoanalysis, see Freud’s study, extraordinary collection and iconic couch. This beautiful house in leafy Hampstead was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they fled from Nazi rule in Austria in 1938. It remained the family home until Freud’s daughter Anna, a pioneer of child psychoanalysis, died in 1982. Then at her wish it became a Museum.

Day 4 – London

- Anna Freud Center Visit – The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families has developed and delivered pioneering mental health care for over 60 years. Its aim is to transform current mental health provision in the UK by improving the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of treatment.
- Lunch Break – British Museum – The British Museum is a public institution dedicated to human history, art and culture. Its permanent collection of some eight million works is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence, having been widely sourced during the era of the British Empire.
Day 5 – London
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Down House – Down House is the former home of the English naturalist Charles Darwin and his family. It was in this house and garden that Darwin worked on his theories of evolution by natural selection which he had conceived in London before moving to Down.
- Lunch Break
- Bethlem Museum of the Mind – This facilitated visit includes a presentation on the hospital and the history of treatment, time in the museum and a Q&A session. We then add one/two of the following depending on the interests of the group and the availability of staff: an archive session, an analytical session based on the painting The Maze and a workshop based on ethics in mental health care.
Day 6 – London

- Science Museum – Interactive and thought-provoking, the Science Museum is a great place to see, touch and experience science first-hand.
Lunch Break - Churchill War Rooms – Discover the secrets hidden beneath the streets of Westminster in the underground nerve centre where Winston Churchill and his inner circle directed the Second World War.
Day 7 – London
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Wellcome Collection – The museum’s permanent exhibitions – Medicine Man and Medicine Now – include fascinating objects, from Napoleon’s toothbrush to Florence Nightingale’s moccasins to Darwin’s walking stick, and its changing exhibition programme covers a range of exciting topics. The Collection includes more than 100,000 prints, drawings, paintings, and photographs, dating from the 14th century to the present.

- Jack The Ripper Evening Tour – As the night falls, and the long shadows reach into the darker recesses of the streets of Whitechapel and Spitalfields, our Original Jack the Ripper Crime Scene Investigation sets out to join the Victorian police as they hunt history’s most infamous serial killer through the crooked, cobbled alleyways of the Victorian abyss.
