Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure

  • Depart Home for London, England

Day 2 – London

  • Arrive in London, England
  • Airport Transfer
  • Check-In & Refresh
  • Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Nelson’s Column, The National Gallery, St. James’s Palace, Buckingham Palace, Victoria Memorial , Big Ben, Westminster Abbey , Houses of Parliament.
  • Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.

Day 3 – London

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Imperial War Museum – Recreations of WWI trenches and the Blitz, many tanks and planes and revolving military exhibitions.
  • Lunch Break
  • Churchill War Rooms – Discover the secrets hidden beneath the streets of Westminster in the underground nerve centre where Winston Churchill and his inner circle directed the Second World War
  • Film: Battle of Britain or Dunkirk

Day 4 – London

  • RAF Museum – The Royal Air Force Museum London is located on the former Hendon Aerodrome. It includes five buildings and hangars showing the history of aviation and the Royal Air Force

Day 5 – Paris

  • Train Transfer to Paris

  • Historical & Cultural Walking Tour – Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, Montmartre, Moulin Rouge, Place de la Concorde, ÃŽle de la Cité, Place de la Bastille etc.

Day 6 – Paris

  • Day trip to Normandy – Caen & Colleville-sur-Mer Pegasus Bridge
  • Caen Memorial – Visiting the Mémorial de Caen first upon arriving in Normandy will give you a broad overview of World War II and the essential role of the region’s beaches played in on fateful Tuesday, June 6, 1944.
  • Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial –
    World War II cemetery and memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, that honors American troops who died in Europe during World War II. It holds 9,387 American graves. Most of the soldiers buried here were involved in the Normandy D-Day landings and the battles that followed.
  • Return to Paris

Day 7 – Reims

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Transfer to Reims (approx. 1 hour)
  • Museum of the Surrender – Museum commemorating the end of World War II in Europe at the actual site of surrender
  • Square des Victimes de la Gestapo –
    It was in this house that many patriots were interrogated and tortured before being interned, deported or shot.
  • Free Time & Cultural Immersion

Day 8 – Bastogne

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Transfer to Bastogne, Belgium (approx. 2 h)
  • Bastogne War Museum – new memorial dedicated to the Second World War in Belgium. It offers you a modern and interactive presentation of the causes, events and consequences of the Second World War, through the prism of the Battle of the Bulge
  • Bastogne Barracks Museum
  • Mardasson Memorial – A monument honoring the memory of American soldiers wounded or killed during World War II’s Battle of the Bulge. Designed in the shape of a five-pointed American star.

Day 9 – Munich

  • Breakfast & Day Briefing
  • Transfer by train to Munich (approx. 6 h)
  • Munich Historical & Cultural Walking Tour –
    Marienplatz, English Garden, Munich Residenz, Victuals Market, St. Peter’s Church, Rathaus-Glockenspiel, Old Town, Sendlinger Tor etc.
