Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc.
Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic Spanish dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all diets.
Day 3 – Seville – Wednesday, January 4

Visit to Cathedral And Giralda Tower – Also known as the Cathedral of St. Mary of the See, it is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the third Christian temple after St. Peter’s in Rome and St. Paul’s in London.
Lunch Break
Royal Alcazar & Garden of Seville – Visit the oldest gardens in Europe, in the Real Alcázar palace in Seville, a UNESCO World Heritage.

Chefchaouen Walking Tour – The blue town, tucked away in the mountains. Picture a city where almost everything is a vibrant shade of blue!

Day 6 – Fez – Saturday, January 7

Transfer to Fes via Meknes (approx. 3.5 hours)
Volubilis Roman Ruins – One of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins located on a fertile plain surrounded by wheat fields. Established before the Christian Era, at a time when the area was part of Mauretania, Volubilis was considered the administrative center of the kingdom of Mauretania and also one of the most remote cities within the Roman Empire, located in the far southwestern region.

Day 7 – Fez – Sunday, January 8

Fez Medina Tour – Enter the walls of the Medina, and learn more about the rich culture and ancient history. Fez is one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. See the Royal Palace of Fez from the outside.
Lunch Break
Tanneries of Fez – Fez’ tanneries are composed of numerous stone vessels filled with a vast range of dyes and various liquids spread out like a tray of watercolors.

Day 8 – Irfan – Monday, January 9

Transfer to Irfan through Middle Atlas Mountains (approx. 1.5 hours)

Day 9 – Merzouga – Tuesday, January 10
Breakfast & Day Briefing
Transfer to Merzouga – Begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the Kasbah in Merzouga, a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the drive.

Day 10 – Sahara Desert – Wednesday, January 11

Camel Trek – After breakfast, you will enjoy a drive exploring the small interesting desert towns surrounding the Sahara places like Khamilia (heart of Gnawa music in the desert), see how the nomadic peoples live in the desert, and explore a bit more of the dune with a stop at the fossiles area to explore and extend the knowledge about this big and large activity. You will enjoy a camel ride to see the sunset over the dunes and you will spend the night in a traditional Berber tent

Koutoubia Mosque – The Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakech, Morocco. It was completed during the reign of the Berber Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansour (1184-1199), and inspired other buildings such as the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat.
