Itinerary
Day 1 – Santo Domingo
- Depart Home for Santo Domingo, DR
- Arrive in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
- Airport Transfer – Check-in, Relax & Refresh
- Historical and Cultural Walking Tour – The Dominican Republic’s capital city, Santo Domingo is also the most modern and dynamic metropolis in the Caribbean. La Capital as it is affectionately called epitomizes the pulse of Dominican culture, where the old and the new converge seamlessly from centuries old architecture and history, to large shopping malls, art galleries, an electric nightlife, and a booming gastronomy scene.
- Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a variety of menu options to cater all
diets.
Day 2 – Santo Domingo
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Baseball Academy Tour – Learn about what it takes to become a pro. Visit the facilities and find out what the training regimes look like for local players. Interact with local players and coaches.
- Baseball Game – Students will be able to play a friendly match of baseball with the locals.

- Boca Chica Beach – Stretching a near mile long with brilliant, white sand, this bustling stretch is well protected by a large coral reef, and its shallow turquoise waters
Day 3 – Santo Domingo

- Three Eyes National Park –‘Los Tres Ojos’ is a national park with a set of three caves that can be explored. The
limestone caves feature stalactites and stalagmites and springs, right in the heart of Santo Domingo. - Professional Baseball Game – The group will attend a professional baseball match and experience the passion and
enthusiasm that the game is all about.
Day 4 – Hato Mayor

- Travel to Hato Mayor (approx. 2 hours)
- Service Learning Project –Students will volunteer with the local organization in a project that promotes Youth Development.

Day 6 – Santiago
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Travel to Santiago (Approx 3.5 hours)
- Historical and Cultural Walking Tour – With a history that dates back to 1495, the second largest Dominican city holds an alluring charm, with its historical landmarks, excellent food scene, lofty mountain ranges, beautiful parks, an innate craze for baseball, and, of course, the prominent industries of coffee, rum, and tobacco.

- Centro León – This large, modern museum, built with the tobacco wealth of the León Jimenez family, is a world-class institution with an impressive collection of paintings that trace the evolution of Dominican art in the 20th century.

Day 7 – Bonao
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Travel to Bonao (Approx 2 hours)
- Jima Waterfalls – Discover the natural wonders of the pristine Jima river. The Jima Waterfalls are found in the outskirts of the city of Bonao, and right at the foot of the Caribbean’s tallest mountain range, the Central Mountain Range. We set off on a soft hike through a nature trail that takes us through the heart of the rainforest, along the trail lie many natural pools, all perfect for taking a relaxing swim before reaching our final destination, a magnificent 50 foot tall waterfall. We end the hike by eating a delicious lunch at the river’s nearby community, which gives you the opportunity to have a real Dominican home cooked meal.
