Itinerary
DAY 1 – HAVANA
- Depart Home for Havana, Cuba
- Arrive in Havana, Cuba
- Airport Transfer – Private Bus
- On-ground Briefing
- Orientation Walking Tour – The group will become oriented with their neighborhood, the public transportation systems, nearby pharmacies, markets, ATMs, etc. Additionally, an in-depth safety briefing will be provided for what to do incase of an emergency.
- Welcome Dinner – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.
- Live Jazz Session (Entrance fee at “La Zorra y el Cuervo” venue. Includes one cocktail)
DAY 2 – HAVANA

- Havana On Foot Experience (includes one beverage and snacks along the way)
- Salsa Class – Salsa is a Latin dance associated with the music genre of the same name which originated in the 1960s in New York City. Salsa is an amalgamation of Cuban dances that were popular in the ballrooms and nightclubs of Havana by the end of the 1950s, as well as American jazz dances.

DAY 3 – HAVANA

- Havana Walking Tour – Covers the main sites of Old Havana, including the four main squares. Havana is Cuba’s capital city. Spanish colonial architecture in its 16th-century Old Havana core includes the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, a fort and maritime museum. The National Capitol Building is an iconic 1920s landmark. Also in Old Havana is the baroque Catedral de San Cristóbal and Plaza Vieja, whose buildings reflect the city’s vibrant architectural mix.

DAY 4 – HAVANA

- Convertible ride – Covers Miramar and Vedado neighborhoods, Cemetery of Colón, Revolution square.
- Tasting Afro-Cuban Culture Experience – The term Afro-Cuban can also refer to historical or cultural elements in Cuba thought to emanate from this community, and the combining of native African and other cultural elements found in Cuban society such as race, religion, music, language, the arts and class culture – dinner included.

DAY 5 – HAVANA

- Day trip to Viñales – Includes roundtrip transportation, agroecological farm tour and entrance fee to Cueva del Indio. Viñales serves as a gateway to the Sierra de los Organos mountains and the Viñales Valley. The valley’s tall, steep-sided limestone hills, known as mogotes, draw rock climbers.

DAY 6 – SANTA CLARA

- Transport to Santa Clara (approx. 3 hours)
- Walking tour of Santa Clara – Santa Clara is the capital of the central Cuban province of Villa Clara. It’s chiefly known for its revolutionary landmarks. In the city’s west, the Che Guevara Mausoleum is the resting place of Che Guevara and other fighters. It’s crowned by a massive bronze statue of the revolutionary leader.
- Che Guevara Mausoleum – The Che Guevara Mausoleum is a memorial in Santa Clara, Cuba, located in “Plaza Che Guevara”. It houses the remains of the revolutionary Ernesto “Che” Guevara and twenty-nine of his fellow combatants killed in 1967 during Guevara’s attempt to spur an armed uprising in Bolivia.
