Itinerary
Day 1 – Alejuela
- Depart for Costa Rica
- Arrive Alejuela, Costa Rica
- Airport Pickup
- Check In, Relax & Refresh
- Welcome Dinner & Program Orientation – The group will be taken for an authentic dinner with a wide variety of menu options to cater all diets.
Day 2 – La Fortuna
- Breakfast & Day Briefing
- Transfer to La Fortuna – La Fortuna is a small town in Costa Rica, northwest of the capital, San José. It’s known as a gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park, comprising 2 volcanoes).
- Town Orientation Walking Tour
- El Salto Local Waterfalls – El Salto, which is Spanish for jump, is a picturesque swimming hole with surrounding rock ledges and a rope swing just outside the town of La Fortuna in the Rio Fortuna).

Day 3 – La Fortuna

- Arenal National Park Naturalist Tour – Arenal Volcano National Park is a >Costa Rican national park in the central part of the country, forming the Arenal Tilaran Conservation Area. The park encompasses the Arenal Volcano, which “was” the most active in the country, which had previously been believed to be dormant until a major eruption in 1968. It neighbors Lake Arenal, which is the site of the country’s largest project, the Lake Arenal Dam.
- Maleku Tribe Experience – The Maleku are an indigenous people of Costa Rica. They are also known as the Guatuso, the name used by Spanish colonizers.

Day 4 – Tenorio National Park

- Transfer to Tenorio National Park – Tenorio Volcano National Park is a National Park in the northern part of Costa Rica, which forms part of the Arenal Tilaran Conservation Area. The jewel of the National Park is the volcano, from which it receives its name.
- Rio Celeste – Naturalist Tour – Rio Celeste is hidden in Tenorio National Park and the magnificent blue waterfall was for long Costa Rica’s best-kept secret.

Day 5 – Rincon de La Vieja National Park

- Transfer to Rincon de La Vieja National Park – Naturalist Tour – Rincón de la Vieja is the largest, most active volcano in Guanacaste.

- Transfer to Palo Verde National Park – Palo Verde National Park is an extremely important area in Costa Rica as it encompasses over 45,000 acres of the Tempisque Conservation area and one of the most endangered ecosystems in Central America, tropical dry forest.

- Palo Verde National Park – Naturalist Boat Tour –Â The best way to experience the national park is by taking a guided boat tour down the river to go wildlife watching.<(span>

2nd Payment of $472.5 due February 29th, 2021
3rd Payment of $472.5 due April 29th, 2021

– Payment Policy: The 1st deposit is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. If the trip is canceled for not reaching the minimum number of participants the deposit will also be refunded.Â
