Students can come experience this staggering diversity and unbelievable beauty of Belize’s landscapes, flora, and fauna in any of our programs. Biology students will be at home here, with more unique species to study than there is time for. Belize is a leader in nature preservation and conservation, and that leaves seemingly endless untouched forests, mountains, beaches, and more. Students can take naturalist tours of national parks on these lands, and go snorkeling in the Belize Barrier Reef, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its importance and vulnerable ecosystem.

Belizean history is steeped in the ancient Mayan past, and students can learn in-depth about this important society by visiting many of the most famous ruin complexes in the area, including Xunatunich, Cahal Pech, and more.
