Itinerary

Day 1 - March 9th, Friday
Depart Orlando (FL) for Barcelona (Spain)

Day 2 - March 10th, Saturday

Morning: Arrive in Barcelona, Airport Pickup, Check in to Hostel
Walking Tour of La Rambla, Christopher Columbus Statue, Plaza Real, Gotic Quarter
and Visit to Barcelona Cathedral.
Lunch on your own
Afternoon: Half Day Guided Tour of Montjuic, ending in Plaza España.
Evening: Welcome Dinner and Cultural Immersion

Day 3 - March 11th, Sunday

Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Guided Visit to La Sagrada Familia
Guided Visit to Park Güell and entrance to Antoni’ Gaudì house and mosaics.
Lunch: on your own in Gracia Quarter
Afternoon: Exploration of local quarter “El Born” and guided visit to Picasso Museum
Evening: Group Dinner and Flamenco Show

Day 4 - March 12th, Monday
Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Departure to Tarragona.
Guided Walking tour of Tarragona ex Roman Colony of Terraco, house of many ancient ruins.
Lunch on your own.
Afternoon: Travel to Valencia
Evening: Arrival in Valencia, Check in and Valencia Welcome dinner.

Day 5 - March 13th, Tuesday
Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Visit to Valencia University and Cultural Exchange with Students and Professors.
Valencia Tour (flexible): 15th-century Cathedral, the Palacio de la Generalidad, Gothic mansions along Calle de Caballeros, impressive Torres de Serranos, Barrio del Carmen, Palau de la Musica, Calatrava Bridges.
Lunch on your own/free time
Afternoon: Guided tour of the City Art and Science Museum and entrance to Oceanografic: the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain
Evening:
Group Dinner and Free Cultural Immersion

Day 6 - March 14th, Wednesday

Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Travel to Madrid. Stop in Cuenca, Sightseeing Casas Colgadas (Hanging Houses).
Lunch: on your own in Cuenca
Afternoon: Arrive in Madrid.
Tour of the Old Town: Puerta del Sol Square, Plaza Mayor, The Bakery House, Posada del Peine, The Oldest Restaurant in the World, San Miguel Market, Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Attack against King Alfonso XIII, Plaza de la Villa Square, Remains of Santa Maria Church, Plaza de Oriente, Royal Theatre
Quick Tapas Break at Mercado San Miguel.
Return to the Hotel, Refresh and Relax
Evening: Group Dinner and Free Cultural Immersion

Day 7 - March 15th, Thursday

Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Service Learning Project
Visit to el Retiro Park.
Lunch on your own
Afternoon: Guided Visit to el Prado Museum: Goya, Picasso, Velázquez, Rubens and More.
Culinary Cultural Immersion, shop on local Markets in order to learn how to Prepare a Typical Spanish Dish
Evening: Group Dinner

Day 8 - March 16th, Friday
Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Half Day tour of El Escorial and Valley of the Fallen from Madrid + Lunch included.
Evening: Farewell Dinner

Day 9 - March 17th, Saturday
Morning: Breakfast & Day Briefing
Departure to Orlando
